About Me

The Buffalo News once described me as “the invisible hand behind  (Buffalo’s) recent surge in media coverage.”  As Visit Buffalo Niagara’s communications manager, I promoted Buffalo by cultivating relationships with nearly 200 national and international media, securing hundreds of stories that changed the narrative of my hometown and growing the organization’s social media audience by tens of thousands.  VBN was a fulfilling stop in my career-long mission to tell stories that cultivate a deeper appreciation of a place and generate interest in deserving organizations.

That journey began at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, where I earned a degree in journalism, and included stints as a newspaper reporter and as Clarkson University’s first social media manager. Now I’m excited to start the next chapter of my journey and tell your story. Whether strategizing website content, crafting social media messaging or identifying  the right pitch for the media, I’ll use my skills to build a stronger connection with your audience and take awareness of your business, organization or destination to the next level.
